![]() SOLD OUT 7" EP 01. Sold Out 02. Terrorize 03. Taang Dub Label: Taang! Records Cat #: TAANG! 1 Format: 7" EP Released: 1984 |
Reviews: This EP is a little short on material. The title cut is a rock and roll-punk song that is done in two versions, one being dub. It's not a bad song, but they've certainly done better (look at Boston Not L.A.). However, "Terrorize" is a tremendous skate-thrash song that is right up there with their best. "Terrorize" alone is worth the price of admission. Check it out. -Greg C. (from Task #1, March 1985) Great fast thrash, but shitty recording kind of ruins it, but nevertheless bitchin'. "Sold Out" is a great song, good lyrics too. Great sleeve photos. -Pete (from Flipside #43, Fall 1984) If you don't like this amazing slab of vinyl, don't even pretend that you ever liked thrash punk. Gang Green's assault is unbelievably tight and intense, and Mr. Doherty's guitar work flails away mercilessly. "Terrorize" is particularly awesome, so nerds should steer clear. -Jeff Bale (from Maximum Rocknroll #14, June 1984) |
