Reviews: Neat idea, not-so-neat results. Cover songs are a tricky business--you either gotta change and update 'em (like the MEMBRANES' "Super Freak"), or out-energize the original (SWA's "100 Bottles of Beer"). But most of the others, turned in by the likes of SCARED STRAIGHT, RKL, FALSE CONFESSIONS, ILL REPUTE, SADO-NATION, DON'T NO, NOFX, VOA, PLAINWRAP, G.I., etc, etc., don't make you forget the originals.
