Reviews: The Bruces are a developing band that has a garage sound with arty touches and an early punk attitude. Neither smooth or really raw, it's fast and quirky, with Devo-ish vocals. Might appeal to Flipper fans I guess. -Tim Tonooka (from Ripper #8, January 1983) As unlikely as the name of the band is, their music turns out to be really cool modern day thrash, albeit quirky.
