WALKING DOWN THE STREET 7"

01. Walking Down the Street

Label: Thermidor Records
Cat #: T-10
Format: 7"
Released: 1982

Reviews:

Nig Heist just might be the funniest band in the world right now (at least during these fifteen minutes). They're loud, gross and slow. Mugger, their sputtering vocalist, sings this tender love song. They are destined to become legends in their own minds.
-Barbara Rice (from Truly Needy Vol. 2 No. 2, May 1983)

This isn't even funny, it's just sick. Mugger in action is pathetic itself, but hearing him spout off about his so-called "scamming" techniques makes me feel sorry for the poor, unhappy fellow. But and contribute to the "Help Mugger Get Laid" fund.
-Len Morgan (from Idle Thoughts #9, December 1982)

A bit of a rip-off--a one-sided single. Extremely raw garage punk with some straight to the point lyrics ("come with me and fuck me"). Nothing special but it's still good for a laugh...
-Boz (from Suburban Relapse #7, November 1982)
