![]() Band History compiled by Nils, Discography compiled by Federico Razzia was formed in the early 80's in Hamburg (1980 or 1981), northern Germany. The first line-up was: Sören Gallsen (Bass), Frank Endlich (Guitar), Andreas Siegler (Guitar), Peter Siegler (Drums), and Rjas Thiele (Vocals). Razzia was perhaps the most popular band in Hamburg next to Slime. Their contribution to early Punk samplers like Underground Hits 1 and Waterkant Hits led to their first LP Tag ohne Schatten. For a lot of German Punkfans this release was and is a milestone in German Punk. The debut followed a great and nowadays hard to find live 12" called Los islas Limonadas, and some more LPs on their own label Triton. Razzia changed their music style in the later 80's. The music became less aggressive and the lyrics changed from political towards more socially critical. The Live CD was the last release with the original vocalist Rajas. He was replaced by Stefan Arndt. The newest release was a CD called Augenzeugenberichte in 1999. Today only one of the founding menbers of Razzia is still in the band. | DISCOGRAPHY Releases: TAG OHNE SCHATTEN LP (Weird System Records, 1983) LOS ISLAS LIMONADAS 12" (Weird System Records, 1985) AUSFLUG MIT FRANZISKA LP (Triton Records, 1986) MENSCHEN ZU WASSER LP (Triton Records, 1989) SPUREN LP (Triton Records, 1991) LIVE CD (Triton Records, 1992) LABYRINTH CD (Impact Records, 1995) AUGENZEUGENBERICHTE CD (Triton Records, 1999) Reissues/Etc: R.I.A. tape (Triton Records, 1986) Compilations: UNDERGROUND HITS 1 LP (Aggressive Rockproduktionen, 1982) KEINE EXPERIMENTE!
